2015 - 2016 
Our 2015 - 2016 season is fast approaching. We are so excited to see everyone back in the studio to kick off our 13th dance season! Here are some important dates coming up:


OPEN HOUSE/REGISTRATION: August 11 & 12 from 4 - 7 p.m.
  • $25 Registration Fee per family, plus your 1st month's tuition are non-refundable & must be paid in full to finalize your registration.

SPOTLIGHT DANCE CAMP (Ages 8 & UP): August 17 - 20 (Camp schedule will be posted ASAP)
  • Classes taught in Ballet, Lyrical, Tap, Jazz & Hip Hop. 
  • Level 2 classes on Monday & Wednesday, Level 1 classes on Tuesday & Thursday.

*NEW* CONTEMPORARY MASTER CLASS: Date TBA for ages 11 & Up



  • COMPANY AUDITIONS; September 1 & 2 for ages 8 & Up
      If auditioning, you must pay the minimum company company class fee of $110, $10 audition fee (FREE PRACTICE CD INCLUDED!) & $25 Registration fee per family. These fees MUST be paid prior to your audition & are non-refundable.

    2015 - 2016 REFERRAL PROGRAM! 
    FOR EVERY NEW REGISTERED STUDENT YOU BRING IN, YOU WILL RECEIVE $20, UP TO 100% OFF 1 MONTH’S TUITION WHICH WILL BE CREDITED TOWARD YOUR 2ND MONTH'S TUITION. They must name you on their registration card and be paid in full. This program ends after the completion of our registration period in August 2015. The family with the most referrals will get a free recital fee for Spring Concert 2016! Thanks for spreading the word!

    CONCERT 2015

    We are so excited for everyone to see this year's show, and to see all of our students shine up in the SPOTLIGHT! There will be a sheet posted at the Theatre to help assist in the re-sale of tickets. Please remember that all re-sales will be handled between ticket holders. We do have a few tickets left for limited shows. If you are looking for tickets, call Dede at 810-444-0206.

    Don't forget that classes continue in the studio until Sunday May 3rd. Starting Monday, May 4th all rehearsals will be down at the U of M Flint Theatre.


    CONCERT 2015 REHEARSAL & PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE!
    Don't forget about next weeks Spring Concert rehearsals and shows! Everything scheduled this week is held at the U of M Flint Theatre. There are NO CLASSES held at the studio next week! The schedule is as follows:

    Monday: May 4th
    • 5:00 p.m.: Red, White & Blue Company, Adagio & Funkdafied dancers only! (No costumes on this day. BRING ALL SHOES & wear dance attire!)
    Tuesday: May 5th
    • Full costume dress rehearsal! This will be our longest night! Thank you for your patience and cooperation!! Dancers will be allowed to sit in the audience when they are not dancing at this rehearsal. 
      • 4:00 p.m.: Miss Kacy's Saturday 11 a.m. 3 & 4's
      • 4:30 p.m.: Miss Amber's Saturday 5, 6 & 7's
      • 5:30 p.m.: All other dancers in 8, 9 & 10's and UP! 
      • Starting at 5:30 we will run through the Finale with ALL DANCERS. Once this is through and all announcements are made, we will excuse the 3 -7 year old dancers and then start at the top of the show.This will be a late night. We will have to stop and start to make sure all 8 and Up non-company dances are blocked on stage for the dancers. 
      • Once dancers have done all of their routines they will be free to leave because we already ran through the Finale at 5:30! 

    Wednesday: May 6th
    • Full costume dress rehearsal! This rehearsal will run as close to the show as possible! Feel free to come and watch! Having an audience makes it a more real experience for the dancers and there is no charge! We also are in need of parent volunteers to help with the dancers backstage for this rehearsal. Dancers will NOT be allowed in the audience because we treat this just like a show!
      • 4:00 p.m.: Miss Emileigh & Miss Brittany's Tuesday 3 & 4's
      • 4:30 p.m. Miss Kacy's Tuesday 5, 6 & 7's
      • 5:30 p.m.: All other dancers in 8, 9 & 10's and UP!
      • Starting at 5:30 we will run through the Finale with ALL DANCERS. Once this is through and all announcements are made, we will excuse the 3 -7 year old dancers and then start at the top of the show. We only stop if there is an emergency reason, we should be out by a good time on this night!  
    Thursday: May 7th:
    • Dancers called at 6 p.m.
    • Show starts at 7 p.m.
    Friday: May 8th:
    • Dancers called at 6 p.m.
    • Show starts at 7 p.m.
    Saturday: May 9th:
    • Dancers called for the Matinee at 12 noon
    • Matinee starts at 1 p.m.
    • Dancers called for the Evening show at 5 p.m.
    • Evening show starts at 6 p.m.
    Sunday: May 10th:
    • Dancers called for the Matinee at 12 noon
    • Matinee starts at 1 p.m.
    USHERS & BACKSTAGE VOLUNTEERS:
    If you are signed up to work as an Usher or Backstage we will need you to be at the Theatre 1 hour prior to the start of the show and find Stacy Koresh. Stacy is our backstage coordinator and she will give you direction from there!
